Sochi Paralympics

BMC worked with Sunset + Vine to help Channel 4 broadcast the Winter Paralympics 2014 from Sochi.  The programme was presented from Elstree Film Studios, and the content aggregated and switched from an extensive facility at the IBC in Sochi.

BMC provided all services between Sochi and the Studios in Elstree, using a diversely routed fibre network.  These services included;

• 7 programme quality VandA services

• 16 high quality intercom circuits

• VoIP services

• UK Internet

• In territory IT support

In addition we provided four video services between Elstree and DeltaTre’s facility in Wimbledon to allow DeltaTre to create and stream Winter Olympic content to the Web on behalf of Channel 4.
