BMC Broadens its LMX Product suite with Define Tech

LMX Cloud software was born out of the London Media Exchange platform. Initially intended as a point to point network service for the Broadcast and Media Sector, LMX Cloud has evolved over time into a complete Cloud Software offering that helps Broadcast and Media customers transition (partially or completely) to a Cloud-Native infrastructure. 

Traditionally, Broadcast and Media customers would use single-purpose, dedicated hardware for specific tasks for example one server to transcode, one server for rendering, one server for storage etc. With LMX Cloud, we enable these same customers to virtualise part or all of their infrastructure, which increases utilisation, efficiency and lowers costs.
